Company General Information

PT Guna Timur Raya Tbk was established on February 29th, 1980. The company was founded by businessman Budi Gunawan. The company focused on business in the field of transportation or transportation services with three fleets located in Lodan, North Jakarta.

As time went on, the business grew with more and more customers and their confidence in the company. The company also managed to increase the number of fleets by 30 single excel trucks and 10 superior double trucks.

Mr. Budi Gunawan is an Indonesian citizen born 60 years ago, and completed his education at SMA Petra, Surabaya, in 1977. He has taken position as President Director of PT Guna Timur Raya Tbk for more than 29 years, or approximately since 1980. He had earlier worked as assistant owner for PT Jambe Jitu in 1977-1980.

Mr. Memen Adiwijaya Kusumah is a 48-year old Indonesian citizen. He completed a governance program at AMI in 1993. He joined PT Guna Timur Raya Tbk in January, 2018. He had earlier worked at various institutions, including Misc Shipping Agent in B/L (manifest) documentation, Samudera Indonesia in B/L (manifest) documentation, Haluan Selatan in inventory container, Norasia Line in inventory container and logistics, Sinergi Logistindo in business and development, Lee Thong Hung Logistic in management, and Mizupon Mota in shipping and logistics.

Ms. Carolina Kusuma is an Indonesian citizen born 56 years ago. She obtained a Bachelor of Economics degree from Universitas Trisakti in 1987, and a Masters in Management from Universitas Indonesia in Jakarta in 2008. She has served as President Commissioner of the Company since 2015 to date. In addition to serving as commissioner at PT Guna Timur Raya Tbk, she has also taken position as director for GMR since 2013. She had previously been appointed as director for PT Awan Mas since 1988, and commissioner of PT Akurabenitama since 2006 to date.
